Privacy Policy

NRZTek ("NRZTek", "we", "our", or "us") is a division of NRZ Home Services, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, with its principal office at 175 Alabama Ave., Lakehills, TX 78063. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through our website at www.nrztek.com (the "Site"), in connection with the IT consulting services we provide (the "Services"), and through the NRZTek Courses learning management system (the "LMS" or "Courses"), an authenticated online learning platform mounted at www.nrztek.com/courses.

By using the Site, the LMS, or engaging our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide directly, including your name, business name, email address, phone number, project details, billing and payment information, and any content you submit through our contact or project intake forms.
  • Information collected automatically, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and approximate location, gathered through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies.
  • Information from third parties, such as analytics providers, payment processors, marketing platforms, and our clients (when you are an end user or employee of a client engagement).
  • Client and engagement data, which may include systems access, configuration details, and other operational information necessary to deliver the Services. We treat this information as confidential and use it only to perform the contracted Services.
  • Courses / LMS account and learning data, when you create an account or use the NRZTek Courses platform. This includes your authentication identity and role (managed through Netlify Identity), name and email, enrollments, lesson progress, quiz and exam submissions and the answers you write, AI-generated grades and feedback on those submissions, subscription and billing status, certificates issued to you, and an append-only activity log of learning events used to issue and verify tamper-evident certificates. Course content, answer keys, and rubrics authored by instructors are also stored in the LMS.

2. How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide quotes, proposals, and Services;
  • To deliver, maintain, support, and improve our Services and Site;
  • To process payments, issue invoices, and maintain financial records;
  • To communicate about projects, account matters, security advisories, and relevant offerings;
  • To analyze usage of the Site, troubleshoot issues, and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and analyze the Site, and to improve user experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect functionality. We may use third-party analytics services (such as privacy-respecting analytics providers) to understand aggregate Site usage.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, email, payment processing, CRM, analytics) under written confidentiality and data protection terms;
  • Subcontractors who assist in delivering Services, bound by confidentiality obligations equivalent to ours;
  • Affiliates, including NRZ Home Services, LLC and its other divisions;
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property;
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary protections.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. When information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to data portability. Texas residents have additional rights under applicable Texas privacy laws. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@nrztek.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

If you use the NRZTek Courses LMS, you can also exercise the most common rights yourself from your account dashboard — download a complete copy of your data or close your account and erase your personal data. 8. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. International Users

We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10A. NRZTek Courses (LMS) Privacy Practices

The following practices apply specifically to the NRZTek Courses learning management system:

  • Authentication. Sign-in, sign-up, and account recovery are handled through Netlify Identity. We store a mirrored profile (your identifier, email, name, and role) so the platform can attribute your learning activity without repeatedly calling the identity provider.
  • AI grading. Open-ended quiz and exam answers may be sent to a large-language-model grading service through the Netlify AI Gateway to produce a score, feedback, and rationale, grounded in instructor answer keys and rubrics. We use your submissions to grade your work and operate the platform, not to train third-party foundation models.
  • Certificates and verification. When you complete a course, we may issue a certificate that is cryptographically signed and linked to a tamper-evident record of your coursework. Certificate verification is public: a person who has a certificate's serial number or link can confirm its authenticity and view the facts shown on the certificate. Do not share a verification link more widely than you intend.
  • Ownership of your content. Course content and other materials you or your organization add to the LMS remain your property. We process that content only to provide, secure, and support the platform, as described in our Terms & Conditions and Courses & LMS Terms of Service. The LMS software itself remains the exclusive property of NRZTek.
  • Subscriptions and payments. If you purchase a course or subscription, billing status and any payment-provider references are stored with your account. Payment-card data is handled by the applicable payment provider, not stored by us.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Effective date" and will be effective immediately upon posting.
